Golgappa Jewellery is designed and hand made by designer Pat in her dedicated South-east London studio. Golgappa specialises in a collection of innovative jewellery designs that are exclusively found here on the website.  COMING SOON !

Pat is a jewellery designer, PMC [precious metal clay] tutor and a freelance journalist. As an experienced businesswoman with over 30 years in Management, Product Development, Advertising and Direct Mail, her passions are running her own business and teaching others.

Her qualifications include an MCSJ, Diploma in PMC, a City & Guilds in Silversmithing and 3D Design and craft, and Pat owns her own Jewellery Brand with a UK registered trademark called 'Golgappa®'.

Pat's passion for handcrafted items stems from her trips to India where she was exposed to handmade jewellery, silk printed scarves, gemstones and many types of handicrafts in the many emporiums there where it is evident that there is something special about an item that has been handmade, with no two pieces being exactly the same.

Inspiration for Pat's handcrafted jewellery comes from India, Venice and their Murano Glass, as well as ancient Greece and Turkey.

We use as much recycled silver as possible, purchased from a very popular UK supplier.

Can your local Jewellery shop staff tell you where the Gemstone in any Jewellery they sell came from??? Ask Them. Probably not!

Oven 80% of our GEMSTONES have been sourced from only one supplier in the UK, over a period of 14 years, because they supply ethically mined natural gemstones that can be traced back to the Countries and mines from where the gemstones were sourced from. They ensure the people who work in the mines and in their workshops are treated very well and not exploited.

They also plough lots of money back into the communities by building schools and assisting in many local projects.

HANDMADE - Our Jewellery designs are Handmade.  This means that there may be a little scratch here and there. Our sparkle may not be so high as we do not over polish our Silver. It means our Gemstones may have inclusions, but that shows it is a natural genuine gemstone and such a talking point. We want our jewellery to show that it is UNIQUE and HANDMADE.

The Art of Silversmithing

Silverclay Studio is a renowned destination for those who appreciate the beauty of handcrafted jewellery and the art of silversmithing. With a commitment to quality and creativity, we bring your jewellery visions to life with precision and passion.

Most of our Jewellery pieces are ONE OF A KIND so it would be hard, if not impossible, for us to copy or replace an item, especially one that contains Gemstones.  Some of our Gemstones are so rare we are not be able to source them again.  Many of the Gemstones were purchased over 10 years ago, so have become rare, as many mines have now closed down.
